Kiele is a native Austinite and attended Austin High School (Class of '89). Her pre-law education and professional experience was in business and information technology. She provided technology development and support services to small companies in Austin before becoming a lawyer and still dabbles in web design.

Austin criminal defense attorney Kiele Linroth Pace holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the
University of Texas School of Law
and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin's
McCombs School of Business. She also attended
University College London.
Kiele is licensed to practice in Texas and before the
U.S. District Court, Southern
and Western
Districts of Texas.
A former prosecutor, Kiele is a highly effective litigator. She is passionate about criminal law and first began defending people in criminal matters as a student attorney with U.T. Law's Criminal Defense Clinic, where she was honored by selection as an Interim Attorney and participation in an exclusive Advanced Clinic.
Kiele was licensed in 2001 and began her career in the Houston area, first as a criminal defense attorney, then as a prosecutor with the Polk County Criminal District Attorney's Office. After taking a two-year hiatus to do commercial litigation, Kiele returned to criminal defense full time in 2006. She practices exclusively in Austin, Texas.
Kiele is a member of the Robert W. Calvert American Inn of Court (barrister level), the Austin Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the Criminal Justice and Appellate sections of the State Bar of Texas.
